Cedar

This park
boasts 3 of the world's best roller coasters and we tried to ride
all the good ones: Magnum XL-200 (Best Steel Roller Coaster in
the World), Millennium Force™, Mean Streak (one of the tallest, fastest and
steepest wooden roller coasters in the world), Raptor®, Mantis®, Iron Dragon, and Disaster
Transport.

« On the way out, Mike and I just had to get a shot of the beautiful lights of the park along with a summer sunset. |

One of the most popular sites of the day was the new Top Thrill Dragster. It's the world's tallest roller coaster...but...they haven't worked out all the kinks yet. It always reaches the top, but doesn't always make it over. See everyone watching in anticipation as to see if it makes it over or comes straight back down. We never got to ride it as the lines were 4 hours long due to the ride shutting down every hour. » |

Paramount's
Kings Island, Cincinnati, Ohio
King's
Island is a short drive from Dayton, so we've been many times.
The new ride Delirium™ is great, but it's always fun to visit the
oldies but goodies (and a few others that aren't so great): Son
of Beast™ (the tallest, fastest and only
looping wooden coaster on the planet), The Beast® (the world's longest wooden
roller coaster for over 20 years), Face/Off™, Top Gun®, Vortex™ (the worlds first 6-inversion
coaster), and Flight of Fear™.
Between coasters, Mike and I visited Nickelodeon Central™ (named the best children's area at an amusement park in the world for 3 consecutive years). | ![]() |
Mike also played his hand a the many of the midway games and won more than we could carry. |

We were even duped into buying some of the crummy pictures they push at the entrance to the park and the exit of all good rides. |
